FIRST STRIKE Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy
Head instructor and owner of First Strike Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Academy, Sean McHugh moved from Vancouver to Penticton BC in 2009. Then Mr. McHugh opened First Strike Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy doors in March of 2010 in Penticton BC and then the second martial arts school in Kelowna BC on October of 2011.
Mr McHugh has been apart of the Carlson Gracie team under the direct tutelage of 8th degree Red & Black Belt Master Marcus Soares since 2001 and is excited to bring all his years of experience of Brazilian jiu-Jitsu from the Carlson Gracie team to the Okanagan.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal is to create the biggest and best Brazilian jiu-Jitsu teams in the Okanagan.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is our vehicle to help strengthen the body, mind and give you the confidence to attain your highest goals what ever they may be.
95 percent of all confrontations end up on in a clinch and or on the ground. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the most effective and proven martial art in real life confrontations.
